The database delivers over 70,000 titles spanning a wide range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more. It's an eclectic mix of documentaries and narrative films (including both full-length features and shorts), television interviews, newsreels and more. The searching function is a rudimentary one, not allowing a more detailed dive into the content, but creative uses of keywords can yield excellent results.

Alexander Street Press is a publisher of award-winning online collections and videos for scholarly research, teaching, and learning. This platform allows you to search across the many Alexander Street resources that this Library subscribes to.

 

A division of European public-service cultural television channel ARTE, shares dance and music performances from major venues in France and Germany for free.
 
 

Comprehensive resource containing 2,000 titles for video streaming, including opera, dance, and orchestral performances, master classes, documentaries and more.

 

"Virtual concert hall" offering free access (registration required) to streaming video of recitals, concerts, operas, and ballets. In addition to live video and a selection of recent concerts, over 1,000 videos of past programs and historical footage are available with subscription.

 

Nonprofit organization presenting conferences and online "TED Talks" on a wide variety of topics; more than 1500 talks are available to watch online. Music contributors include such luminaries as Michael Tilson Thomas, Benjamin Zander, Maya Beiser, David Byrne, and José Antonio Abreu.
