Borrowers Are Encouraged to Renew Books Online

You may renew your materials online through the CUNY Catalog (OneSearch). On the OneSearch page, click on Menu on the top-right corner, and then My Account. This will take you to the CUNYFirst log-in page where you can sign in with your CUNYFirst credentials.

After you are in “My Account,”:

  1. Select your loans from the owning CUNY library institution list.
  2. You may select RENEW ALL, or choose to RENEW individual loans. (Be advised that loans that are labeled as NOT RENEWABLE cannot be renewed by the user.)
  3. Your renewal will take effect immediately and you will be issued a new due date.

Books may also be renewed in person.

In the Brooklyn College Library, books are checked out and renewed at either the Music Desk on the 2nd floor or Circulation Desk. In order to renew your book(s) in person, you must have a valid CUNY ID card. You must also be able to identify the specific book(s) for renewal.

For other reader categories, see Categories of Patrons. You may also contact the Circulation desk on the 1st floor, via CircDesk@brooklyn.cuny.edu, or at (718) 951-5328.
