Kanopy is one of many streaming video services provided by the Library.
 

How to Watch Kanopy Films:

• Be sure to link to Kanopy here from the library site or use the link your instructor gave you.
• If you are off campus, you will be prompted to authenticate via CUNYlogin if you are not already signed in.

Before requesting a film through Kanopy:

• Check OneSearch to see if we already license the film through one of our other streaming services

• Check online to see if the film is available for free, some suggestions for where to look

How Faculty Request Kanopy Films:

Because of the high cost of activating each film--$150 for 1 year of streaming access--faculty may request film activation for use with classes.  Faculty may request that films be activated through the form on the Kanopy website; requests are processed weekly. Activated films are available for one year and may be accessed by all members of our community. We will consider student requests based on appropriateness for our collection, availability, and current budgets.
