The Brooklyn College Library is one of the largest academic libraries in New York State, and one of the senior college libraries within the CUNY system. Boasting a collection of over 1.8 million print publications, nearly 4 million e-books and a wide variety of electronic journals and databases, the Brooklyn College Library functions as both a physical and digital hub for scholarship. Brooklyn College's high school programs allow these students to utilize many of the Library's resources. The Brooklyn College Library provides ample opportunity for quiet study as well as offering private study rooms for group projects. The library is home to several printing stations in addition to the New Media Center which hosts a number of computer labs and loans equipment to students. Students are encouraged to consult with the Library's faculty in order to navigate the Library's resources or seek guidance for a research project. Students can visit the reference desk on the first floor or schedule a consultation with a subject librarian via email.
