All visitors may read print periodicals in the Library. Please ask for assistance to retrieve periodicals outside our "Current Periodicals" display on the 1st floor.

Some non-reference print materials may be borrowed by those who are also able to check out print books.
Many government documents are now online and available to the public. Links to many of these resources are on the Government Information subject page.
Faculty may check out these materials at the New Media Center (2nd floor) for a limited period for use in class.
All others may use these materials in the Library.
The Music Library has equipment for albums, and Library computers are equipped with disc drives to view or listen with headphones. Viewing rooms (faculty) and group study rooms (students) are also available for those eligible to reserve them and can be equipped with DVD or videocassette players.

A limited number of TI-83+, TI-84+, and TI30x2s calculators are available at the Brooklyn College Library Circulation desk on the 1st floor for active students to check out.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that obtains library materials that are not otherwise available to the Brooklyn College community.
ILL is available to active Brooklyn College students, faculty, and staff.
