Options when BC Library doesn't have it

Borrowing from other CUNY Libraries

In OneSearch:

  • Search for the title (and maybe author's last name) of what you are looking for. 
  • Change the filter in the search bar from Brooklyn to CUNY
  • Sign into your account (CUNY First Credentials)

  • Click on the item's title (if it comes up)
  • Click the box to Request another CUNY Library's copy

  • Fill out the form- and choose which CUNY branch is most convenient for you to pick up the book at. 
  • Return the book to any CUNY Library. 

 

Not available at CUNY? Try Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

 

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Use Interlibrary Loan to request books, chapters, and articles not available at Brooklyn College OR other CUNY Libraries. 

 

You will create your own account using the following conventions:

Username
Must be your BC Email.
Password
Choose anything you like.
