Travel Information

Meters run along Bedford Avenue, Campus Road, and Nostrand Avenue. 

Once on campus, look for the white clock tower of the Brooklyn College Library.



B6 or B11 on Avenue J, to Bedford Avenue at Campus Road.
B8 on 18th Avenue, to Flatbush Avenue at Foster Avenue.
B41 on Flatbush Avenue, to Nostrand Avenue.
B44 on Nostrand Avenue, to Flatbush Avenue.
B49 on Ocean Avenue, to Avenue H.
Q35/Green Bus Line, to Flatbush Avenue at Nostrand Avenue. 


From Manhattan
Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE). BQE to Prospect Expressway to Ocean Parkway. Ocean Parkway to Foster Avenue and turn left. Foster Avenue to Flatbush Avenue and turn right. Flatbush to Avenue H.

Alternate route from Manhattan (This route includes a toll)
Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to Prospect Expressway. Proceed as indicated in driving instructions directly above.

From Staten Island and New Jersey
Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Belt Parkway East to Flatbush Avenue. North on Flatbush Avenue to Avenue H.

From the North Shore of Long Island
Jackie Robinson Parkway (formerly the Interboro) to the last exit: Pennsylvania Avenue. Pennsylvania Avenue to Linden Boulevard. Right on Linden Boulevard to Kings Highway. Left on Kings Highway to Avenue H. Right on Avenue H to Campus Road. 

From the South Shore of Long Island
Sunrise Highway or Southern State Parkway to Belt Parkway West to Flatbush Avenue North. North on Flatbush Avenue to Avenue H. 


LIRR to the Flatbush Avenue/Atlantic Avenue station. Transfer to the subway: Q Local to Avenue H or #2 or # 5 to the Flatbush Avenue station. OR, transfer at Atlantic Avenue to the B41 bus, to the Nostrand Avenue stop.


Q Local to the Avenue H station, at Avenue H & East 16th Street. Walk 4 blocks east to the Ocean Avenue entrance.
Q Local to the Avenue J station, at Avenue J & East 16th Street. Transfer to the B6 or B11 bus and take either to Bedford Avenue at Campus Road.
#2 or #5 to the Flatbush Avenue/Nostrand Avenue station.
