Enrolled student email accounts are via CUNY Microsoft Office 365.

NOTE: Be sure to log into your CUNY Office 365, which is different from any other free Office 365 account you may have.

All current Brooklyn College students have a CUNY cloud email account hosted by Microsoft Office 365. Your account also provides access to web and downloadable versions of the complete Microsoft Office suite and 1TB OneDrive cloud storage.

Remote Access to Library Databases & Wifi

Enrolled BC students:

  • Username = your 8-digit CUNY EmpID
  • Password format = FLMM/DD/YY

FL = your CUNYfirst official First and Last initials (upper case)
MM/DD/YY = your 6-digit birthday with the SLASHES
Example: If your name is Jalil Doe and your birthday is November 21, 1998, your password would be JD11/21/98

Problems with remote login?

If you have been able to log in to library resources in the past, but suddenly cannot, what most likely needs to happen is that your IP address needs to be cleared (this just happens sometimes!). Please go to and get your IPV4 and then send your IP address to netgroup @ and ask them to clear it.

Guests may obtain a Guest WiFi password in the Library.
