Your Brooklyn College & CUNY Accounts: Email • Wi-Fi • Library Remote Access

You need your Brooklyn College email username and password to log into BCwifi, remote access to library resources and, of course, your email.

Account Information

If you enrolled at Brooklyn College Summer 2014 or later:

  • log in with your CUNYFirst user ID followed by @bcacad.local, e.g., joe.doe01@bcacad.local.
    • Note: your full email address is your (e.g.,
  • your password is your two-digit birth month, two-digit birth date, and the last five digits of your CUNYFirst EmplID (format = MMDDEEEEE). Example: If your birthday is June 1 and your EmplID is 12345678, your password would be 060145678.

If you enrolled at Brooklyn College before Summer 2014:

  • your (email) login ID can be found under the My Info/My Personal Info tab in BC Web Central.
  • your BC e-mail password is your two-digit birth month, two-digit birth date, and the last five digits of your Social Security number (format = MMDDSSSSS). Example: if you were born on May 1 and your SS# is 123-45-6789, then your password would be 050156789.

Wi-Fi Access

BCwifi is only available to Brooklyn College students, faculty, and staff using their campus email ID and password.


To read your BC e-mail, you can log in from your Brooklyn College WebCentral account or visit https://studmail.brooklyn. for access. You can also set up an email client on your home computer or on your smartphone/tablet to retrieve mail from your BC account (Android instructions | iPhone instructions)

BC email uses an Exchange server and the server address is Note that College
