SciFinder Scholar, also known as CAS SciFinderⁿ, indexes the literature of chemistry and related fields, including journal articles, book chapters, online publications, patents, conference proceedings, theses and dissertations, technical reports, government documents, etc.

Before using SciFinder Scholar Web Edition for the first time, you will need to register an account using your Brooklyn College email address.

Your password must contain 7-15 characters and include at least three of the following:

Letters
Mixed upper- and lowercase letters
Numbers
Non-alphanumeric characters, for example @, #, %, &, *

After creating an account, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from CAS. You will need to click the link in the email within 48 hours to activate your account.

Start registration process now. (Reminder: You must register with your Brooklyn College email address.)

Please note that you will need to make a browser security exception and accept the site's certificate for CAS SciFinderⁿ to work from off campus.
